Reflections, Sid's second solo piano release, is deeply touching and quietly
lyrical, with improvised melodies that soothe and caress the soul.
There is a clarity and
purity in the music's performance that invites the listener tpo receive and
feel fully the concious care of its creation.
While these highly
original compositions may include a hint of Winston or even Brubeck, it is
Sid's releationship with the poet Osho that has most inspired his solo piano
work to be an endeavor to instill the timelessness of silence within the
music's light and joyful spontaneity.
