In his second solo piano recording 'Reflections' Sid presents his own compositions.
In them he combines the creation of beautifully crafted melodies with the immediacy of spontaneous improvisation.
Sid responds to and is guided by the music and the silence that surround him.
The melodies serve as a starting point for a musical journey that leads within.
His music reflects a state of allowing and letting go, to which the artistry of the pianist gives a musical shape.
Sid compares this fascinating process to the moon reflecting the light of the sun and by her mere presence causing magical beauty.
Sid's 'Reflections' were played on a Steinway Concert Grand and invite the listener to ease into the same space of receptivity, availability and joy, that they originate from.
