We, Harida, Nartan and a group of musician friends, founded Nazca Music in 1995 in the Netherlands, a label for Worldmusic, New Age music and Smooth Jazz. In 1999 Harida and I moved with our company to the Southwest of Portugal, to a beautiful old farm house on a hillside overlooking the untouched nature of Alentejo - an inspiring setting for the music we love to record.
We renovated the farmhouse, which includes now our living and working area, an apartment for musicians or guests and our recording studio in the former stables of the farm.
The house is surrounded by a 30 ha forest area, no neighbours in sight, the only sounds to hear are created by nature, an atmosphere that invites to creativity and meditation.

From the first moment we saw this property, we invisioned a place for music and meditation. The silence and spaciousness this place offers, seems like from another world.
In 2006, we organized our first Osho meditation retreat at Pomar da Serra, it was a fantastic experience for everybody, something we continue since then every month from spring to autumn. In 2008 we added two other alternative workshops to our program, Vegeterian Cooking and Juice Fasting.
